Chaplains in graduation

As a part of our mission to service the local churches, Chaplains provide spiritual counsel and support to those who are experiencing problems in daily life. A Chaplain's role is to listen and help people understand their spiritual needs and concerns in order to develop trust, compassion and understanding with them. We endeavor to provide chaplaincy through volunteer efforts, one-on-one counseling and ministry coordination.

Chaplains helping people in rural village

A Chaplain is an ordained, professional religious specialist who offers spiritual assistance to the armed forces, the sick, and the dying. Chaplains help maintain morale, cohesion, and good conduct among service personnel. They are not aligned with any particular religion or denomination, but their faith plays a significant part in their work and ministry.

Chaplains are not just ministers seeking to assuage the consolations of religion, but can also be seen as educators, counselors, community leaders, peacemakers and most importantly, friends. In an increasingly secular world, it is necessary for clergy to ensure that people understand their role and what they do. Chaplains are meant to provide guidance through prayer/meditation and love.
